Testimonials

"Having Sinead as our doula was an integral part of our pregnancy and birth experience. She was calm, knowledgeable, reassuring and unassuming. She was invaluable to us as a birth companion, and I am certain that my dream birth experience was made possible thanks to her. Such was her professionalism and ability to work with everyone involved in the birth, midwives have since asked for her details to recommend to others. I give her my highest recommendation."

"I didn’t even know what a Doula was before I became pregnant but I’m so glad I found out! Sinead offered all the experience, knowledge and understanding about this new chapter of pregnancy, birth and beyond, which I was seriously lacking.

She helped us to sift through the overwhelming amount of information available, to help me to learn, think about and plan for the birth I wanted.

Having had the sessions before the birth, Sinead totally understood us and our wishes. She was therefore able to advocate for me and the experience I wanted as well as making the birth space exactly as I had hoped. This allowed me to just concentrate on the task in hand and my husband free to just support me.

During labour she was quietly reassuring and gave me all the confidence I needed. Her knowledge of breathing techniques and biomechanics allowed her to help with timely reminders for me and external counter pressures which were amazing through contractions.

I feel very lucky to have had an empowering and positive birth experience which was just as I hoped. I had my daughter in the pool, in a midwife led birth centre, utilising hypnobirthing techniques (and a little gas and air 😉). She was in my arms only four hours after arriving at the birth centre and we were home less than 12 hours later.

I credit the outcome, in no small part, to having Sinead in our corner throughout and would highly recommend her to anyone considering it"

"Sinead is everything you need for your pregnancy, birth and beyond. I first met her having signed up to her pregnancy yoga classes - the environment was always warm, calm and welcoming and her tailored advice each session with positions to help my aches and pains helped hugely, not to mention the zen relaxation - much needed for me with 2 little ones at home and one on the way. Sinead also acted as my Doula and supported me and my partner in our birth journey - this was the third one for me (both experiences prior had been polar opposites) so I knew what I was wanting to achieve and her help was utterly invaluable - she was a constant unwavering support to us and helped us navigate a very precarious birth journey, which turned out to be an incredible, euphoric and completely natural experience of a lifetime. I am absolutely sure this wouldn't have been possible without her being there for both of us. I'll share my birth story with Sinead & am happy to share this. We then decided to do one of her Sunset Photoshoots as we felt she was the perfect person to do it, not to mention her photos are incredible - she spent such time and care making sure we got the most gorgeous photos of our family that I will cherish forever, I bawled looking through the gallery. Sinead is simply amazing, and if you are wondering whether to work with her, the answer is just DO IT - you will not regret it. Thank you, Sinead, for everything."
